KYU/DAN requirements
16 years old and above must be black belt registered with SKIF-GHQ. 15 years old and younger brown belt accepted.

Starting in different age category
It is forbidden to start in the age category that is not same as competitor’s age. Year of birth is relevant (not the day of birth).
Kata Competition Rules
Individual
- Up to 64 participants: Kohaku (flag) preliminary system. Final: 4 competitors with point system
- Over 64 participants: Kohaku (flag) preliminary system. Final: 8 competitors with point system
Except 20-39 years old individual kata where Kohaku (flag) preliminary system. Semi-final : 16 competitors with point system. Final 8 competitors with point system (different kata in semi-final / final)
Team kata
- Up to 8 teams: 1 round with point system
- Over 8 teams: 2 rounds with point system. final: 4 teams (different kata in semi-final / final)
Yakusoku kumite
Preliminaries / semi-final flag system – KIHON IPPON
Finals – 4 teams – point system – JIYU IPPON
Grand Master Kumite
1.Men
8 participants
all 1st and 2nd places from senior categories
(names are going to be drawn by the competitors)
2. Women
8 participants
all 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places from senior categories
(names are going to be drawn by the competitors)
